Emergency Medical Science Bridge Program

A45340BR (Associate Degree Bridge Program)

The Emergency Medical Science bridge program has been established for students that have completed portions of EMS requirements through NC Community College Continuing Education program. Currently credentialed Paramedics would receive 45 semester hours of credit toward the AAS degree. The remaining coursework to complete the degree will require 29 semester hours of work outlines below.

In addition to the courses listed below, students may be required to take developmental courses based on placement guidelines. These courses do not count toward the credit hours needed for graduation.

Once the student has been accepted into the bridge program, the student will receive credit for the following courses:
