This curriculum provides a course of study for learning the skills needed to teach the theory and practice of esthetics as required by the North Carolina Board of Cosmetic Arts.
Course work includes all phases of esthetics theory laboratory instruction.
Graduates should be prepared to take the North Carolina Cosmetology State Board of Esthetics Instructor Licensing Exam and upon passing be qualified for employment in a cosmetology or esthetics school.
In addition to the courses listed below, students may be required to take developmental courses based on placement guidelines. These courses do not count toward the credit hours needed for graduation.
